Proposal for main identification sign (“CVS” used as a placeholder only). I like that even simple 3D models like this can communicate design intent so much better that conventional orthographic views…

…and yet, contrary to popular belief, 3D models offer great tools to quickly produce 2D drawings with accurate dimensions and orthographic views.

I created this cantilevered sign inspired by the silo on site of this Brazilian Restaurant in Austin, Texas. In order to better project the impact of my design, I first produced a SketchUp model. I then Photoshopped the model into an actual photo of the restaurant’s driveway:

Wayfinding: Scott & White Hospital Campus

I was pleased to design the wayfinding signage for Scott & White’s campus in Temple, Texas. These were the drawings submitted:
